Not to mention awareness…you would think someone would add intonations to *important* parts of speech, not brain-farts or unintentional attempts to fill time.

I feel bad for the organization and anyone else who was an active part of that event. The “Uh’s” and “Um’s” could be such a cause for distraction and annoyance that their spilloff effect would have much more impact than on just the speaker’s reputation alone.
